24:1 Run News

It’s a series of 24 one-mile runs contested around the world on 2 June celebrating the spirit of Global Running Day.

Partnering with sports ministries, city governments, race organisers and member federations around the world, this initiative by the IAAF, the sport’s global governing body, incorporates races held in two dozen cities across 24 countries on six continents to create a worldwide celebration of running.

More than 12,000 runners participated in the inaugural IAAF Run 24:1 in 2018, taking to the streets in 24 cities across 15 time zones.
